Singer, Made Kuti replies X user after being insulted for marrying outside Yoruba tribe

Made Kuti, the grandson of legendary musician Fela Kuti, has responded to a troll who insulted him for marrying outside the Yoruba tribe. The troll had called him a "foolish Yoruba man" for marrying an Igbo woman, Inedoye Onyenso ¹.
Made Kuti countered the troll's ethnic-based insult by promoting unity and criticizing tribalism. He emphasized the importance of African unity, referencing great leaders like Nkrumah and Lumumba who championed unity and collective progress ¹ ².
The singer urged people to educate themselves on African history and the ideals of these leaders, rather than perpetuating divisive thinking. He wrote, "Believing ethnic superiority/inferiority is justifiable is slave mentality... Running backwards and believing ethnic superiority/inferiority is justifiable is slave mentality" ¹ ³.
