‘I never intended to disrespect Davido’s wife’, American influencer addresses controversy

American influencer known as Gorgeous Doll has revealed that she never intended to disrespect Nigerian superstar, Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, aka Chef Chi,

On Thursday, the influencer addressed a video that leaked in April showing Davido kneeling and presumably begging her. She had earlier posted a picture of herself and the Afrobeats star.

She claimed that the video was leaked without her consent by someone within her close circle and acknowledged her role in the earlier released photo. This led to her receiving death threats, which she deemed as excessive.

She expressed understanding and appreciation for Davido’s Nigerian fans but condemned the death threats as unjustified.

She stated that she had contacted Chef Chi, apologized, and offered a detailed explanation of the situation, stressing that her intentions were never to offend her.

She expressed her support for women, stating that she would never do anything to harm another woman. She also mentioned resolving issues with Davido and his team.
